Why do I need skin care products?
Answer: Occupational skin disease accounts
for 15% to 20% of all reported occupational
diseases and is vastly underreported by employees.
There is virtually no occupation or industry
without potential exposure to the many substances
that cause dermatitis, which is overwhelmingly
the most common cause of occupational skin
disease. By using skin care products like
before work creams, skin-friendly cleansers,
and aftercare lotions, the chances of developing

only a small quantity of one of your products
to use at home?
Answer: We offer an online store where home
consumers can buy the STOKO® Skin
Care products they love to use at work for
use at home.
Single tubes of Kresto®, Stokolan®, Cupran® Special and others are available for sale
to customers in the United States. A minimum
order of $14 USD is required. To visit the

Question: STOKO® Skin
Care products have the reputation of being expensive, do they
really cost more than alternative products?
Answer: It is not true that our products
are more expensive for several reasons. First,
our hand cleaners are very concentrated,
which means you use less product per wash.
Second, a proper skin care program can dramatically
reduce skin disease in the workplace, thereby
saving money on issues such as lost work
time and productivity. Third, our dispensers
are designed to dispense only the amount
of product needed for effective use, keeping
usage costs and the cost of time to refill
dispensers down. Using STOKO® Skin
Care products will save you money!
HAND CLEANERS
Question
:Do any of your hand cleaners remove
grease?
Answer: Yes, we have several heavy-duty cleaners
that are excellent against grease and oil.
We also have Before Work creams that can
help prevent the penetration of grease and
oil into your skin, making cleanup much easier.
Question: Do any of your hand cleaners remove
paint?
Answer: Yes, we have specialty products that
will remove oil-based paints, stains and
urethanes. We also have a product, ReDuRan® Special, for the removal of dyestuffs.
Question: Do any of your hand cleaners contain
pumice?
Answer: The scrubber that is contained in
all STOKO® Skin Care products
that contain scrubber, is purified, all-natural
powdered
walnut shell.
Question: How is a walnut shell scrubber
better than other scrubbers?
Answer: Walnut shell scrubbers provide strong
cleansing power without harming your skin
or the environment. Walnut shell scrubbers
are not harsh on the skin like pumice, plastic,
sand, or wood flour. Our walnut shell scrubbers
are bleached to ensure quality and cleanliness
and are 100% biodegradable. Some other scrubbers
like pumice or plastic can cause plumbing
problems because they are not biodegradable
but walnut shell powder will not clog sinks
and drains.
Question: Do any of your cleaners contain
lanolin?
Answer: No they don’t, applicable products
contain sulfated castor oil to put the moisture
back in skin. Sulfated castor oil is not
water-soluble like lanolin so it stays on
the skin after washing.
Question: Do any of your heavy-duty hand
cleaners work without water?
Answer: Yes, we offer a waterless cream
cleanser in Kresto® Kreme
and Kwik-Wipes®, textured
towels effective at removing grease, oil
and grime, for situations where water is
not available.
Question: Do you only sell products for
removing heavy-duty dirt?
Answer: No, we have skin cleansers for all
situations and environments, not just mechanical
or industrial settings. Light-duty cleansers
are available in liquid, foam or spray form
for offices, schools and any commercial or
institutional setting. We even have a cleanser
specifically formulated for the needs of
employees in the food processing industry.
BEFORE WORK SKIN CARE
Question: What is a Before Work product and
why do I need one?
Answer: A before work cream is applied
before starting work and helps to soothe
the skin
when working with harmful workplace substances.
The cream or lotion not only helps keep substances
from breaking down the skin’s integrity,
but it also can make cleaning up afterwards
much easier. Before Work products usually
only last 2 to 3 hours, so you should wash
your hands and reapply after that period
of time.
CONDITIONING/MOISTURIZING
Question: Why would a man need to use a moisturizing
lotion or cream?
Answer: Skin that is dry and/or cracked
is not only a cosmetic issue but also a
health
issue. Very dry/cracked skin can allow dangerous
workplace substances and bacteria that cause
skin disease to enter the skin. STOKO® Skin
